Heidi has stood beside migrants, survivors of trafficking, and marginalized communities, not simply as a legal advocate, but as someone committed to dignity, accompaniment, and meaningful change.Dominique Huerta-ACLU TEXAS Dominique Huerta serves as the engagement coordinator with the ACLU of Texas. Dom believes community care is the most important part in advocacy and organizing. Building relationships with those directly impacted, and maintaining those relationships, are a crucial part of Dom's job in and out of the ACLU of Texas.
