We gather in love, gratitude, and remembrance to honor the life and ministry of Rev. Dr. Guy Edward Pearce, who entered eternal rest on November 28, 2025, at the age of 90.
Born in Roswell, New Mexico, Rev. Pearce lived a life shaped by deep faith, compassion, and unwavering service. Called to ministry, he faithfully served for more than three decades in the West Texas/New Mexico Methodist Conference, blessing congregations such as Grace UMC, Asbury UMC, and Anthony UMC. His ministry was known for its warmth, inclusivity, and genuine commitment to welcoming all.
Rev. Pearce is lovingly remembered by his wife, Shirley Jean Pearce, his children and stepchildren, and a large and beloved family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His legacy continues in the countless lives he touched through his care, wisdom, and Christ-centered leadership.
💛 A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church at 5005 Love Road, El Paso, TX
💛 A reception luncheon will follow in St. Mark's Zumwalt Hall.
💛 Rev. Dr. Pearce will be interred at Memory Gardens of the Valley at 4900 McNutt Road, Santa Teresa, NM, at 1:00 PM.
