Join Abbey Carpenter, James Holeman, and Battalion volunteers as we share stories, observations, and lessons learned from the NOT FORGOTTEN PROJECT — PARA LAS MADRES.

The evening will include:

? Project debrief and discussion

? Search results and observations
? Book readings
✍️ Book signings
? Battalion shirts and swag
? Community conversation
❓Questions and discussion

The space will also feature the photography of our friend Laurie Smith. ?❤️

For six days, volunteers have walked the deserts west of El Paso searching for the missing, documenting what they find, and bearing witness to a humanitarian crisis that continues largely out of public view.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the work, hear directly from volunteers, connect with others who care about human dignity and remembrance, and help ensure the people lost in the desert are not forgotten.

All are welcome. Street parking.
