- **Event Description**: The Hyde Art Gallery and the Grossmont College Ceramics Program present VIEWPOINT: Ceramics 2026, a juried exhibition that continues a landmark ceramics series first established in 1977. Returning for Spring 2026, VIEWPOINT brings together artists working across Southern California and beyond, offering a timely look at how ceramic practice is being shaped today. While grounded in the history of the original exhibitions shown at the Hyde between 1977 and 2006, this iteration reflects the evolving concerns, materials, and approaches of contemporary artists. The works on view range from sculptural and vessel-based forms to conceptually driven projects that engage process, surface, and narrative.

 On view from February 2 – March 4, 2026 
 Opening Reception: Tuesday, February 10, 4–6pm 
 Artist Walkthrough: Wednesday, February 25, 4pm 
 Gallery Walk-in Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10am–4pm and Fridays by appointment only.
