Vrijdagavond workshop met Cin Tomino
Inmiddels is Cinthya een zeer gewaardeerde docente van onze vrijdagavond workshops geworden. Op 23 januari 2026 geeft zij weer een interessante workshop, dit keer met als onderwerp “dansen op de plaats”. Deze workshop is bedoeld om ons mooie en elegante bewegingen te leren die we kunnen gebruiken als de Ronda stagneert en we op onze plaats blijven dansen. Ze besteed met name aandacht aan de Calesita, versieringen en pauzes in de dans.
Deze workshop is bedoeld voor alle niveaus, hoewel een basisvaardigheid wel noodzakelijk is. Hij wordt als paar gevolgd, maar heb je geen partner meld je dan vooraf even aan met vermelding van je niveau zodat er voor een geschikte partner gezorgd kan worden. Je hoeft je dus niet vooraf te registreren maar het is fijn als je je komst toch aankondigt zodat Cin zich goed kan voorbereiden en eventueel een partner voor je te zoeken. Mocht je echter op het laatste moment besluiten om mee te doen aan deze workshop, schroom dan niet, kom gewoon onaangekondigd.
De workshop kost 15 euro per persoon, begint om ongeveer 19.00 uur en duurt tot ca. 20.15 uur. Blijf na de workshop voor ons gezellige Tangocafé (entree 6 euro, niet in de prijs van de workshop begrepen)
Meer over Cin Tomino:
Cin is geboren in Argentinië en danst al meer dan 20 jaar Argentijnse Tango. Ze begon op haar achtste en trad al in haar eerste Tango jaren veelvuldig op, deed mee aan wedstrijden en festivals. Uiteindelijk werd Tango haar professie. In 2012 ging ze in Tokyo in de Tango dansschool werken, ze gaf les in China, Duitsland en Portugal en naam tot drie keer toe aan het Tango Festival in Mozambique om in 2018 weer terug te keren naar Argentinië om een cultureel centrum op te richten, waar ze lesgaf en Milonga’s en Festivals organiseerde. Verder gaf ze nog les in Houston, Spanje en Italië.
Ze nam een aantal keren deel aan het World Tango Championship and Metropolitan Cup, haalde zowel als volger als leider meer dan eens de halve finale.
Cin is niet alleen Tango docente, maar ook Pilates en Stretching instructeur. Ze richt zich op comfortabel dansen met focus op een gezond lichaam. Daarnaast is zij tevens choreografe en ook nog dj en treedt ze op in binnen- en buitenland.
Inmiddels is Cin neergestreken in Rotterdam. Hier geeft ze les maar ze treedt door heel Europa op.
Friday night workshop with Cin Tomino
Cinthya has since become a highly valued teacher of our Friday night workshops. On 23 January 2026, she will be giving another interesting workshop, this time on the subject of “dancing on the spot”. This workshop is intended to teach us beautiful and elegant movements that we can use when the Ronda stagnates and we continue dancing on the spot. She will focus in particular on the Calesita, embellishments and pauses in the dance.
This workshop is intended for all levels, although basic skills are required. It is taken in pairs, but if you do not have a partner, please register in advance, stating your level so that a suitable partner can be found for you. You do not need to register in advance, but it would be helpful if you could let us know you are coming so that Cin can prepare properly and find a partner for you if necessary. However, if you decide to participate in this workshop at the last minute, don't hesitate to just turn up unannounced.
The workshop costs 15 euros per person, starts at approx. 7.00pm and lasts until 8.15pm. Stay after the workshop for our cosy Tango Café (entrance fee 6 euros, not included in the price of the workshop)
More about Cin Tomino:
Born in Argentina, Cin has been dancing Argentine Tango for more than 20 years. She started at eight years old and already in her early Tango years performed frequently, entered competitions and festivals. Eventually, Tango became her profession. In 2012, she joined the Tango dance school in Tokyo, taught in China, Germany and Portugal, and named up to three times at the Tango Festival in Mozambique before returning to Argentina in 2018 to establish a cultural centre, where she taught and organised Milongas and Festivals. She further taught in Houston, Spain and Italy.
She participated several times in the World Tango Championship and Metropolitan Cup, reaching the semi-finals more than once both as a follower and leader.
Cin is not only a tango teacher, but also a Pilates and stretching instructor. She focuses on comfortable dancing with an emphasis on a healthy body. In addition, she is also a choreographer and dj, and performs both at home and abroad.
Meanwhile, Cin has settled down in Rotterdam. Here she teaches and performs throughout Europe.
