2 januari 2026 Vrijdagavond workshop met Asya Moiseeva Close Embrace
Tijdens de tweede editie van de mini marathon Felicia op 3 januari 2026 zal Asya Moiseeva een van de dj’s zijn en we mogen ons heel gelukkig prijzen dat multi talent Asya een dagje eerder wilde komen om voor ons de vrijdagavond workshop van 2 januari te verzorgen.
Asya licht de workshop als volgt toe:
Naast figuren en mooie sequenties is het allerbelangrijkste en het leukste aan tango: eenvoudig lopen (caminata) in een hechte omhelzing. Voor mij persoonlijk draait tango om nauw contact en improvisatie. Om hier en nu iets echt unieks te kunnen creëren, hebben we basiselementen nodig: staptechnieken en een prettige, maar functionele omhelzing. Tijdens deze les werken we aan comfort in een nauwe omhelzing, hoe we deze prettiger en veiliger kunnen maken en hoe we onze stappen kunnen verbeteren. We zullen proberen de rijkdom van de muziek uit te drukken door middel van stappen.
Deze workshop is bedoeld voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in dit onderwerp en kan individueel of als paar gevolgd worden. Als altijd begint de workshop om 19 uur en duurt ca 1 uur en een kwartier. De prijs is 15 euro per persoon. Niveau is niet van belang.
De van geboorte Russische Asya woont en werkt in Parijs. Ze heeft een achtergrond in fotografie en koken en staat ook bekend als een van de beste Europese tango-dj's, die wordt uitgenodigd voor marathons en festivals. Daarnaast geeft samen met Veronica Toumanova les in Argentijnse Tango in Parijs (www.verotango.com).

2 January 2026 Friday night workshop with Asya Moiseeva Close Embrace
During the second edition of the Felicia mini marathon on 3 January 2026, Asya Moiseeva will be one of the DJs, and we are very fortunate that multi-talented Asya agreed to come a day earlier to lead the Friday night workshop on 2 January.
Asya says about the workdhop:
Beyond figures and fancy sequences, there is still most important and most joyful thing about tango - simple walk (caminata) in close embrace. Personally for me, tango is about close contact and improvisation, to be able create something truly unique here and now, we need basic things - step techniques and pleasant, but functional embrace. During this class we will work on comfort in close embrace, how to make it more pleasant, secure, how to improve our steps. We will try to express richness of music through steps.
This workshop is intended for anyone interested in this topic and can be attended individually or as a couple. As always, the workshop starts at 7 p.m. and lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The price is 15 euros per person. Level is not important.
Asya, who was born in Russia, lives and works in Paris. She has background in photography and cuisine and is also known as one of the best European tango DJ’s, invited to marathons and festivals. In addition, she teaches Argentine Tango in Paris together with Veronica Toumanova (www.verotango.com).
After the workshop, continue dancing in our Tango Café (admission fee of 6 euros not included in the workshop price).
