Forty years after their debut album WIL MET U NEUKEN, the Frisian-language punk legend It Dockumer Lokaeltsje makes a radical return to the vibe of their early days. Back then, they cobbled together their first ten songs in a single afternoon — on LOOP OF SLOOP, their brand-new LP/CD, Fritz, Sytse and Peter have taken the step of recording an album first and only then turning it into ten songs! On these tracks, It Dockumer Lokaeltsje rattles more than ever. Shellac, DNA, Teenage Jesus and The Ex all make a brief appearance, but blink and they’re gone again. Because se kinne der net oer! (They can’t handle it!)
