Our autumn trail ride series is going Western! In celebration of Halloween, join Salt Marsh Hounds for a Yellowstone-themed ride at historic Broxton Bridge Plantation. You'll enjoy moss-draped lanes, open sandy trails, and plenty of room for a good stretch in the saddle. Costumes welcome (especially if they're on-brand for Dutton Ranch), and you can expect a lot of Halloween fun along the way.
As this is a Sunday, we will start our ride with a brief Sunday Service sermon, and then riders and horses will move off for a day of fun.
Open to all riders and disciplines. Green horses and green riders always welcome. We’ll organize Fields to match pace and comfort, from a forward group to a relaxed hilltopping field.
What to Know
• Ride begins at 10:00 AM (arrive by 9:00–9:30 to check in)
• Location: Broxton Bridge Plantation, Ehrhardt, SC
• Signed waiver and proof of negative coggins are required
• Cost - A $10 facility fee is mandatory and due to Broxton Bridge. A suggeted donation of $25 to Salt Marsh Hounds is appreciated but never expected.
• Attire: Western, traditional, or tidy schooling turnout—costumes encouraged! Giddy up!
• Potluck lunch to follow - bring a dish to share!
