Lisa Swarbrick is the owner of Well Preserved Farm in Chichester, Quebec. Her family’s roots in the Ottawa Valley go back to the 19th century, and she is grateful to be preserving on the same land that her Great-Grandmother did in the past. Lisa is a jam and jelly champion, having won over 150 ribbons at competitions at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, including the Bernardin Canada Judges’ Choice Award in 2007, and Premier Jam and Jelly Maker in both 2022 and 2023. She is the winner of Best Strawberry Jam in this year’s Laurentian Valley Fall Flavours Festival. Lisa and her passion for jam making was featured in an article and photo spread in Harrowsmith Magazine in 2022, where she highlighted her belief that “Jam brings Joy.”
