PA Day: Rock On!

Celebrate the amazing rocks beneath our feet and the minerals that shape our world! From the stones in our driveways to the materials in our phones, rocks and minerals are everywhere — after all, if you can’t grow it, you have to mine it.

Get hands-on as you create your own pet rock, take a closer look at real rock and mineral specimens from the museum’s collection, press a salt dough fossil impression, and build a colourful geology core from plasticine. It’s a day to explore, create, and discover the hidden treasures of the Earth!
