- **Event Description**: With an Open Heart is a partner workshop designed to build, repair, or deepen understanding of the dynamics of what love looks like. You can bring your mom, sibling, friend, or partner to take a deep dive into exploring new ways to understand, navigate, and communicate about this thing we call love.
This Valentine’s Day, step into vulnerability as we workshop through different concepts. From energy centers and chakras, to the nature of the nervous system, and a touch of Gottman Theory. Developed by researchers John and Julie Gottman, this research-based approach to healthy relationships focuses on communication, emotional connection, and conflict management.
The experience includes a tailored partner yoga class to increase connection and open the heart center, followed by a special reiki-infused sound healing savasana to marinate in the connected space you create through practice.
There will be something for everyone. Whether you understand love as energy, carry wounds that make vulnerability feel challenging, or rely on logic and data to spark curiosity, this accessible workshop is sure to add a little extra love to your life.
Optional Chinese herb–infused cacao will be available to enhance an even more connected and open experience. Light snacks will follow, offering time to share, journal, and reflect.
