Join Terry Menz from Riverbed Astronomy Club, discussing how light pollution affects our wildlife, health, and our ability to appreciate the natural beauty of the night sky. Through an interactive demonstration, you will learn simple steps to reduce light pollution in our communities to protect our environment and how to participate in the GLOBE at Night Campaign to collect information on light pollution. The presentation will be followed by a night sky observing session of the Perseid Meteor Shower.
