Edmonton screening of The (M) Factor 2 exploring perimenopause and women’s health. Hosted by Flow Functional Health Care & Dr. Briana Botsford Botsford,ND in support of the Lois Hole Hospital Women's Society.
Following the incredible success of last year’s sold-out screening that welcomed 350 people and raised $4,500 for The Lois Hole Hospital Women's Society, Flow Functional Health Care is proud to host The (M) Factor 2: Before the Pause at The Metro Cinema in Edmonton.
This powerful documentary explores perimenopause, the often unrecognized phase before menopause that can affect women for years. Many women begin noticing changes in their late 30s or 40s, mood shifts, sleep disruption, anxiety, brain fog, cycle changes, yet are told everything looks “normal.” This film gives language to those experiences and helps connect the dots.
The (M) Factor 2: Before the Pause brings together lived experiences, expert insight, and evidence-based information to challenge outdated narratives around women’s midlife health. It’s not about fear or fixing women. It’s about understanding what’s happening, feeling validated, and knowing there are options.
This screening is hosted by Flow Functional Health Care, one of Edmonton’s leading naturopathic clinics, led by Dr. Briana Botsford, ND. Dr. Botsford and members of her clinical team will be in attendance for an in-person discussion following the film, offering grounded, clinical perspective and space for meaningful conversation.
This screening is independently hosted in partnership with The (M) Factor.
The film is produced by Women in the Room Productions and Take Flight Productions.
