The Ceviche Experience: Ceviche Cooking Class

Join Chef José for an evening of bold Peruvian flavours and hands-on cooking in the heart of Edmonton. You'll learn to prepare authentic Peruvian ceviche from scratch: mastering the techniques, balance, and fresh ingredients that make this dish so special.

The evening begins at 5:30 PM at Otto Food & Drink with drinks and a chance to meet your fellow food lovers before diving into a two-hour cooking workshop. Chef José will guide you through everything you need to know to bring these dishes to life:

• Branzino Tiradito, Nikkei style, in a passion fruit sauce
• Ceviche mixto with rockfish, scallops, and Argentinian pink prawns, finished with yellow chili paste, Peruvian corn, and sweet potato
• Leche de tigre shots
• Pisco sour

You'll leave with a copy of the recipes and guidance on where to find the ingredients locally so you can bring these flavours home.

A heads up: knife work is part of the experience. Don't worry, Chef José will walk you through everything carefully so you can feel confident at the table.
