The hush of snow, the glow of flame,
The memory of your name —
Each carries love, each softly tells,
You’re here — within the bells.
The season of Christmas is filled with sound — the ring of bells, the hum of carols, the laughter of family gathered close.
But for many, this season also carries another sound — the silence left behind by those we miss.
Gather with us in the stillness and in the song, to honour their memory. To listen for the echoes of their love — still resonant, still real — within the sounds of Christmas.
Park Memorial’s annual Christmas Remembrance Service is a tribute to those we have lost, a place where our loved ones are honoured, and a time to reflect, remember, and safely feel your emotions.
In the hustle and bustle of the season, our Christmas ceremony is a sanctuary of peace, solace and unity. We hope you will feel the presence of your loved ones in the gentle glow of Christmas lights, while finding comfort in the shared experience of loss and remembrance.
Please join us as we gather together to hear meaningful words and Christmas music, while we mourn and remember our loved ones who are no longer present to celebrate the holidays with us.

Our staff team has chosen three local charities to honour with memorial donations this year (to a combined maximum of $1500): Edmonton Food Bank, Aspen Service Dogs Inc., and the Roozen Family Hospice Centre. When you RSVP for our Christmas Remembrance Service, you will have the opportunity to add your loved one’s name to one of the charitable donations in their memory. You will make your selection for this during the registration process.
We are also offering our community an opportunity to pay tribute to their loved one(s) who are no longer here to celebrate the season via our Park Memorial Tribute Tree. Details: www.parkmemorial.com/tribute-tree
