Influenced by Guy Clark and others, his soulful, raw style draws listeners in. He began performing young, releasing two early albums, then moved to Edmonton in 2013 and issued two more well-received records. Telling Time (2015) was produced by Colin Linden in Nashville; Most True Thing (2020) was self-driven with Edmonton’s The Audio Department, featuring notable guests. He also collaborates with Altameda and Lucette, and has produced for Swear By The Moon. With a collection of new songs ready for the studio, he’s preparing to record his fifth album. Lucette Piano/keyboard, vocals Lauren Gillis, known professionally as Lucette, is an Edmonton-based alternative pop songwriter with a 15-year career grounded in strong lyricism and evolving craft. Her work blends confessional storytelling with modern pop structure, moving between folk-rooted narratives and contemporary songwriting. She began her career at 19 in Nashville with Grammy Award–winning producer Dave Cobb, developing a disciplined, story-first approach. Her album Deluxe Hotel Room, produced by Sturgill Simpson, earned praise from Rolling Stone, NPR, and Billboard for its depth and range. Now signed to Wax Records and Anthem Entertainment, Lucette continues to write and collaborate across genres, with a focus on clear, emotionally grounded songwriting. Parking is available in the City of Edmonton lot just outside our doors. $6 maximum from 5pm to 2am or $2.50 per hour. Tickets will also be available at the door if not previously sold out online. Doors open at 7pm. Music starts at 8pm.
