Patrick Faherty is a Boston-born musician known for his dynamic work at the crossroads of rock and blues. He is the frontman of Canyon Lights (2024–present), a rock band inspired by the classic 70s era, and was the original singer and cofounder of GA-20 (2018–2024), a multi-award-winning, three-time Billboard #1 charting blues band.
His playing and songwriting have earned coverage in outlets such as Guitar Player, Guitar World, Vintage Guitar, Rolling Stone France, and Soul Bag, among others. Faherty has toured extensively across the globe, appearing at major festivals including Boston Calling, Harvest Festival (CA), Moulin Blues (NL), Blues Peer (BE), Red Rooster Festival (UK), and Waterfront Festival (USA)
When he’s not on the road, Faherty channels his experience into teaching and studio work, offering private lessons and select session dates between tours. His teaching emphasizes feel, groove, and song-first guitar playing, helping students connect classic blues and rock vocabulary with their own sound. He also lends his guitar and vocal work to studio projects, collaborating with artists and producers who seek a raw, live-in-the-room energy for their recordings.
