The arena in downtown Edmonton is highly regarded for its modern design, large capacity, and excellent views of the ice from virtually any seating location. The seating arrangement, although steep, is appreciated for providing unobstructed views. The venue's amenities, such as the Sportsnet club and the Ford Hall entrance, are also positively acknowledged. However, visitors have raised concerns about the steepness of the seating in the higher sections and the high cost and poor quality of food at the concession stands. Despite these issues, visitors generally had a positive experience and would recommend the arena for its well-produced events and comfortable seating.
