The event will include nature-themed activities, such as:

 ?A guided tree walk to learn more about the tree species in Edmonton

 ? A dendrochronology station hosted by Northern Forestry Centre

 ? A beneficial bug display

 ☀️Teachings from the land through an indigenous lens

 ? Ask an Arborist booth

Other participating groups include CPAWS and their ‘Grand Tour of Alberta' conservation board game, YEG’s Touch Grass Club, and local landscapers.

National Forest Week is a week for Canadians to celebrate forests and the many benefits they provide across the country. This year’s theme is “Roots to Resilience” - come learn how forests support biodiversity in Edmonton and why it’s important!
