The circular food economy is about retaining as much of that value, for its highest purpose, as possible. The only way to make sure that value isn't lost is to expand the value in the eye of the beholder, and to put the systems in place so the cost of retaining it doesn't outweigh the gain.​These are the rooms to find the people you are looking for if you work in food and ag tech, across production, processing or distribution, in food security and food recovery, in the business operations every food business runs on, or in the support services and agencies behind them — or if you are simply interested in the economics of buying local and supply chain management.​The purpose is to connect the people outside of their network and outside of their immediate segment of the broader food sector, and to broaden your understanding of the true economics of food. Either across the loop entirely or in the adjacent cohort, the resources and experience available, the language and lens used, and what seems achievable are all different.
