This intimate dinner experience will bring guests together to break bread and connect over a signature Lux family-style menu, designed to be shared and savoured. As you gather around the table, you will experience the warmth and hospitality that define Lux — where meaningful conversations unfold naturally over exceptional food.

The evening will feature a fireside chat hosted by local author Cody Lakevold, sharing insights from his book Longship— a moving story of grief, reckoning, and rebuilding through resilience and brotherhood.

Cody will be joined by Tyler Smith, survivor of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy, now a mental health advocate, speaker, and co-host of the podcast Bromance. From his humble beginnings in Leduc, Alberta, to surviving one of our province’s most tragic moments, Tyler’s journey is one of courage, vulnerability, and purpose. His story is a powerful reminder that healing happens through connection and community.

The evening will conclude with a curated silent auction and the opportunity to meet and connect personally with both Cody and Tyler.
