Course Description
The class will be conducted in combination of online and Zoom/Facebook classes, to meet your needs.
Only 10 students to ensure physical distancing during the course.
200 hour Yoga Instructors’ Training Course will be conducted on twelve weekends (9am to 5pm). Students will be trained in traditional Hatha yoga, which includes breathing techniques and meditation. You will also learn basic anatomy, and complete ten hours of internship with a qualified instructor. At the completion of the course you will receive 200Hr yoga instructors certification. The certification is recognized by various organizations including Yoga Association of Alberta and Canadian Yoga Alliance. You will be qualified and trained to take yoga classes on your own. Studio would provide opportunity for teaching Karma classes and paid classes.

The Instructors: Linda and Sean have been hosting certification courses yearly since 2003
Instructors: Linda Dumont – Senior instructor with the Yoga Association of Alberta, Advanced Yoga Instructors’ Certification through Friedel Khattab School of Yoga in 1980, Yoga Instructors’ Certification as a yoga instructor by YMCA in 2017. More than 40 years of experience teaching yoga classes.
Freya Sean Giroux – Second generation yogi, Certification with Gerda Krebs School of Yoga in 2000, Certification with Linda Dumont in 200hr in 1991, 1500 hours cert in 2015, YMCA approved to teach the YMCA yoga instructors’ training courses. B.A. in Dance performance GMCC. Level 1 Gymnastic coach More than 27 years of Yoga teaching experience teaching yoga classes.
Graduates of Freya and Linda yoga course are successful teachers all across Alberta and Canada.
