Head-to-Head Barrel Challenge
$75 per contestant, limited to 16 riders.
Ready for an EXCITING barrel racing challenge?
Head-to-Head barrel racing matches rider against rider, in a direct competition to see who can cross the finish line first!
2 patterns are set up in the arena, so that riders do not share any barrels, nor cross each other's path.
Winners advance on to the next round, in a double elimination, bracket style format.
This means, all riders are guaranteed at least TWO runs. Riders also get a "second chance" in this format- so that if they lose a round, they are not totally out of the game.
Any barrel knocked over results in a NO TIME- since timers are not used.
LIMITED to only 16 riders! The first 16 PAID entries will secure their spot!
Overall winner receives a BELT BUCKLE! Additional prizes given for all participants, based on how high they rank in the standings.
If you are a lesson student of Silver Wind, The Patch, or Stoneridge and do not have a horse to use, we have a limited number of horses available to rent for the event.
NEW THIS YEAR
Novice Division! $50 per rider
**Your trainer, or Ashley will determine if you qualify for this division** This is for riders/horses with less experience in barrel racing.
The novice division will run in the same format as the regular division, but will not award a belt buckle for first. Other prizes will be given to all participants
