- **Event Description**: Racing history one lap at a time...MX Rewind Presented by NYCM Insurance returns for the 14th installment. This all vintage dirt bike event celebrates the history of the sport of dirt bike racing. Friday morning gets things started with Cross Country racing throughout the woods and fields, with a little motocross track thrown in. Grass Track Scrambles are next up on Friday afternoon. A gentle course with a rubber band start laid out in a grass field that hasn't been ridden on since last year. Saturday transitions Rewind onto the pro motocross track with motocross racing for bikes up to 2009. The majority of classes on Saturday are for pre-78 bikes. Sunday keeps the vintage moto vibe going with more motocross on the pro track. Sunday's focus is on bikes from 1980-2009. However, there are a few classes on Sunday for bikes from before 1980.

Off the track it's a great time meeting old and new friends who love to talk moto. Campfires become meeting places and the bragging begins! Camping is available all weekend for racers, families, and fans of vintage motocross racing.

                "description": "Unadilla MX began in 1969 on land that was formerly a dairy farm. While motocross had a foothold in Europe after having started at the end of Would War II, it was not well known in America. But the potential was there. The original pro track began to be laid out towards the back of the facility but logistics soon made it clear that it would be less than an ideal location. Thus it was back to the drawing board and a course was laid out closer to the highway. That forward thinking continues to be appreciated today.\n\nUnadilla took off in popularity almost from the first event. Over the years, Unadilla has been home to the 250 USGP, the fall Trans-AMA and Trans-USA series, was the first track in the U.S. to hold the MX des Nations, and has hosted a round of the Pro Motocross Nationals for the last seventeen years.\n\nIn 2000, “U-2” was unveiled. Part of “U-2” lays on what was originally planned as the pro track. A track with similar features to its big brother, it was and continues to be designed with amateur racers in mind and remains true to outdoor motocross with its long uphills and downhills, sweeper turns, and jumps. \n\nThe racing season typically opens in May and runs through September. Located in the rolling hills of Central New York, Unadilla holds events for both dirt bikes and ATVs.
