Edinburgh Bibliographical Society would be delighted if you would join us for a day devoted to paper and parchment. In the morning papers on medieval paper and medieval parchment will be presented by Prof. Orietta da Rold, University of Cambridge, and Prof. Kathryn Rudy, University of St. Andrews. Following a sandwich lunch, there will be a practical workshop on pop-up books, led by Gen Harrison, of Edinburgh College of Art and Typochondriacs.

Info: During this workshop, you will discover various pop-up paper techniques. It will cover some of the principles of paper engineering that will enable you to create beautiful books or fun cards. Whether you are a beginner or have experience, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels. 
All materials will be provided.
