You will learn practical skills needed to progress in business with confidence and make a valuable contribution to any employer from day one.
Workshop one is centred on developing your influencing skills. Building influence with the decision makers in your workplace means you're able to identify and respond to their needs, but you also need to have a strategy for how you want to be known.
This workshop is ideal for people who need to influence colleagues and clients even day-to-day life contacts - promotion, job interviews, renting a flat, whatever life throws at you!
**Earlybird Offer: If you book the full 4 modules, receive 25% off your final workshop. You must email dHJhaW5pbmcgfCBlZGluYnVyZ2hjaGFtYmVyICEgY28gISB1aw== to redeem.
Other workshops available: Networking, Presentation Skills and Running Meetings.
By the end of workshop one you will have confirmed how to:
• Influence face-to-face and at a distance.
• Devise tactics for influencing without “positional authority”.
• Formulate compelling influencing objectives.
• Identify when you are being manipulated and respond effectively.
• Devise and deliver empowering questions.
• Use Personality Poker as the basis for their influencing strategy.
• Utilise your personal network more effectively.
If you don't have a clear and strong value proposition, a personal brand, then it's really difficult to positively influence the people who are making the decisions that are going to impact on your objectives. You have to be able to tell people what you stand for, and then show action. That’s how you get credibility and you need credibility to build influence.
At this workshop we will cover:
• Treating influencing as a five stage project.
• The importance of influencing objectives.
• Researching and developing an influencing plan.
• Influencing without “positional authority”.
• Questioning and listening techniques.
• Words, voice, body language and rapport.
• Being assertive.
• Building and maintaining respect.
