SAPPHIC SOCIAL INDY

I, the individual named, hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in hiking and outdoor activities organized by Sapphic Social Indy, a social club designed to bring together members of the sapphic community in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. I understand that these activities may include, but are not limited to, hiking, walking, backpacking, nature exploration, group travel, water sports, and other physically demanding outdoor pursuits.

I understand that participating in outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Slips, trips, or falls
• Exposure to wildlife, insects, and environmental hazards
• Weather-related dangers (heat, cold, rain, lightning, etc.)
• Personal injury, illness, dehydration, or exhaustion
• Lack of immediate medical facilities or assistance

I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the organizers, and I take full responsibility for my participation.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in activities hosted by Sapphic Social Indy, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the organizers, hosts, volunteers, or fellow members of Sapphic Social Indy from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for injury, death, or property damage resulting from participation in these events.

I agree to:

• Be solely responsible for my own health, safety, and personal belongings during all club activities.
• Notify the organizers of any physical or health conditions that may affect my participation.
• Follow all local laws, safety rules, and guidelines provided by group leaders or venue authorities.
• Refrain from engaging in behavior that may endanger myself or others.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.

By signing up for this event below, I confirm that I have read this waiver and understand its contents. I agree to be bound by its terms.
