Let’s reach all children and young people across Scotland!Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AISafer Internet Day 2026 will take place on Tuesday 10th February 2026, with the theme ‘Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI’. At this exclusive planning event for Scotland you will hear from:UK Safer Internet Centre, who will walk you through the Safer Internet Day 2026 campaign and educational materials. In-person attendees will also be involved in a workshop to generate ideas for how your organisation can be involved in the Day.Ofcom, who will provide an online safety updateScottish AI Alliance, who will present about AI mythbusting.Children's Parliament, who will focus on children's rights and AI.Internet Watch Foundation, who will talk about the risks to children of Generative AI (in-person attendees only).Additional information about the event: This hybrid event is being held at Ofcom's office at Quartermile, Edinburgh. The nearest train station is Edinburgh Waverley, which is a 17-minute walk. There is a bus stop directly outside the building.
