Thundermoon
Edinburgh-based electronic band Thundermoon formed in 2022 when Casey, K & Shaz joined forces to create a queer synth sound to shift dimensions. The band kicked off 2025 with a performance at Edinburgh Hogmanay’s First Footin’, and began writing their debut album. Their recent single “You. Me. (feat. Megan Black)” (May 2025) comes with it’s own dance routine and was awarded ‘Track of the Week’ via BBC Introducing in Scotland with Phoebe Inglis-Holmes & Stephanie Cheape, who said it was one of their "favourite combinations out of all of the collaborations they have ever had on BBC Introducing in Scotland." Inglis-Holmes labelled the track the “perfect, queer, art-pop anthem”. Following the release of “You. Me.”, Thundermoon supported Jet2Holiday pop-sensation Jess Glynne at Helix Park in June, followed by a slot at Kelburn Garden Party. The band had a bucket list moment in August when they opened the show for their idols and 90’s dance legends, Faithless, at Floors Castle in Kelso - citing it as “the best night of their lives”. Stay tuned for what’s next on the cards for Thundermoon, with new music coming out in October 2025 and a debut album in the works.
Gravelle
Pronounced like the dirt. Born out of isolation, longing, and a love of bending the limits of both genre and gender. GRAVELLE are an industrial-pop duo formed in Livingston, Scotland, consisting of Monique Maurel (Vocals & Synths) and Kylie MacNaughton (Vocals & Guitar). A life of feeling like outcasts has filled them with a desire to create pop music for freaks, music to cry and dance to in unison, and an aesthetic to match. A fusion of pounding industrial synths, piercing guitars, and duelling vocals, GRAVELLE exists to dominate the audience into emotional catharsis.
