- **Event Description**: Free drop-in workshop at the Physicians’ Gallery.About this EventJoin us for the second of our LGBTQ+ drop-in art workshops.In this workshop we will be ‘queering’ botanical illustration - using a range of art materials and paper types we will use fun drawing prompts to explore different ways of recording plants and flowers.We will have a selection of plants to draw from life, with lavender as our centrepiece chosen for its associations with the LGBTQ+ community. Further information on lavender and queer ecology will be provided.This workshop is open to LGBTQ+ people and allies of all ages.This workshop will be led by local queer artist Rachel Howarth and RCPE Heritage Engagement Co-ordinator Rachel Forrest.Free but booking is essentialBooking a space helps us to plan ahead. You can drop-in anytime between 11am and 2pm.Drop-in workshop running from 11am to 2pmPhysicians’ Gallery open from 10am to 4:30pmThis event is funded by the Douglas Guthrie Fund.
