Qi Gong has ancient roots and is based on Taoist philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory.This workshop will cover:• Introduction to Taoist philosophy: the Tao and Yin-Yang theory• Qi Gong practice and meditation• Readings from Tao te ChingDates of future workshops:27 June: The Three Treasures, Inch Houes Community Centre22 Aug: Principles of Taoism – Wu Wei (effortlss action), Salisbury Centre3 Oct: Topic tbc, Inch House Community Centre14 Nov: Qi Gong and Meridians, Salisbury CentreAll workshops 10-1pm, booking details nearer the timeWhat to wear/bringWear warm loose clothing. There are yoga mats and blankets in the Studio but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.If you have a physical or mental health medical condition that might affect your ability to participate, or affect your or other people’s safety or enjoyment, you should take appropriate medical advice and inform me of your condition.
