Orienteering for Adult Beginners

Discover the thrill of orienteering!!

Join our one day beginner workshop led by our experienced coach and gain the skills and confidence to navigate with a map.

This fun day teaches you the basics of orienteering including:

-Understanding an orienteering map
-Using a compass
-Techniques to navigate a course on a map

By the end of this day you will have the skills and confidence to take part in an orienteering event. There are 3 clubs in the Edinburgh area so plenty to choose from. No prior knowledge required – just a sense of adventure. All physical activity at whatever level you choose.
