Whether you're a complete beginner, a hobbyist, or an experienced artist, you're very welcome to come along.This is the first in a planned series of summer sketching meet-ups, and June’s session is definitely going ahead. Each time we’ll meet at a different museum and explore different collections and approaches to drawing and art practice, building a friendly creative group for anyone who enjoys sketching in inspiring spaces.Please note: museum policy does not allow charcoal, pastels and water-based or oil paints, so we’ll be working with dry materials only (such as pencil, pen, sketchbook, and dry pastels if permitted).Bring:• A sketchbook• Your favourite dry drawing materials• Curiosity and a willingness to experimentSchedule:• 10:00–10:15 – Meet and introductions• 10:15–11:45 – Sketching in the museum• 11:45–12:00 – Share sketches and ideas• 12:00 onwards – Optional coffee and chatNote: The sketching session is completely free to attend.
