The formal gardens surrounding the house were designed in 1910 and are dotted with ancient trees. Roe deer are often glimpsed in the gardens as are badgers, stoats and foxes. In summer swallows, bramblings and pied flycatchers make the estate their home.On this visit we will be maintaining previously planted trees to ensure they continue to grow well.We encourage volunteers to use our minibus for transport.
