Becoming a parent is tender and intense, complex in the light and shade of it, the shifting identity, the joy and rage. Naming it, being witness to it with each other building powerful solidarity in isolating times.This event celebrates some of the writing that has come out of these sessions, written by mothers in the first year of their child's life.The shop will open at 10, come settle in and have a cuppa, we'll have pram parking in the fiction room and wee ones are very welcome. The event will start at 10.30 and is expected to last up to 1hour in readings and conversation, but do come along for whatever you can manage.Me mother other groups run over 8weeks, in person and online. The pilot was funded by Creative Scotland and different funding/payment options are being explored.
