A founder of Autograph (Association of Black Photographers), she is known for Pastoral Interludes (1987), depicting the English countryside through a black lens. Her poetry collection Faultline was released as a collaborative recording project and she is interested in (re)integrating text, sound and movement including as larger scale ritual performance. Lisa is also a bodyworker and activist concerned with dialogue and information exchange about health in the context of social justice and has published related writing including the book Warp &amp; Weft: psycho-emotional health, politics and experiences.
