During the beginner's class, you will have mastered how to set up a sewing machine – winding the bobbin, threading machine and controlling the speed and direction of sewing – then making a cushion cover!

Taking this to the next level you can easily progress onto fitting a zip, lining and precision in cutting and sewing a smaller item - i.e. the washbag.

After this class, you'll be ready to join our dressmaking class and start making your own clothes!

Knowledge required:
Intermediate - must have attended a beginner's sewing class or can thread a sewing machine without supervision and able to sew in straight and curved lines.

What to bring:
Just yourself and a 'can do' attitude
You are welcome to bring along your own machine or use one in the studio.
