The Joys of Swing presents a cornucopia of popular Swing and Jazz standards. Expect a splendid choice of tunes, tempos and genres and great performances from outstanding musicians!

The music will be particularly suitable for dancing Lindy Hop, Jive and Foxtrot.

The band's line-up for the evening is Mike Daly (cornet), Martin Foster (reeds), Dave Watt (piano), Roy Percy (bass) and Jack Wilson (drums).

The Edinburgh Jazz 'n Jive Club offers on Fridays live Jazz music in a relaxed club house atmosphere, with a bar and an excellent, wooden dance floor. The music is generally suitable for dancing Foxtrot and Swing (Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa). Come along to listen to superb Jazz and to dance the evening away!

No need to book in advance, just come along! The entry fee is £15 for non-members and £12 for members. Entry is free for accompanying carers and accompanied children. The fee can be paid at the door by card and cash. The main entrance is from Bangholm Terrace, with step-free access from Warriston Gardens corner Inverleith Row.
