One of the most unique and uncompromising DJs in the world: COCO MARÍA is a globe-trotting record digger, selector, curator and radio host with impeccable taste.

Hailing originally from Mexico and now based in Europe, she specializes in Brazilian, South American, Central American, and Caribbean wax. Irresistible slices of forward-thinking electronic, future Latin sounds alongside vintage jazz, samba, cumbia, all sorts of rarities from sunny, far-off places - and all mixed with her irrepressible energy and original style.

Alongside her worldwide DJ travels, Coco Maria is an accomplished and regular radio host on NTS and Worldwide FM, and has also released 4 incredible compilations of music via Bongo Joe Records - all under her Club Coco umbrella.

And it is a slice of Club Coco we will be treated to on this date, as the one and only Coco María makes her Edinburgh debut and plays records for 3 hours - following from her memorable b2b with Rebecca Vasmant on a very sunny afternoon on the Viewpoint Stage back in 2024.

Support comes from the lovely lads Mark & Joe from Greenhouse Records - Edinburgh's premiere spot for global music curiosities.

And the event takes place at our new venue, the People's Leisure Club!
