This is a great activity for avoiding textile waste and is a fun, creative and meditative way to spend a couple of hours. You will leave the workshop excited to apply your new skills.Materials are provided and you are welcome to bring your own clothes to work on too.Suitable for beginner or experienced sewers.About the tutor:Karen Giroud is passionate about creativity and sustainability in textiles. She has designed and made costumes for film/TV and theatre and has taught art, design and textiles in schools and workshops for over 20 years.Tickets:We will have a mixture of £10 and donation-based tickets until we manage to renew our funding. This will allow us to pay our tutors fairly, while still keeping our classes accessible. All tickets include a free hot drink from the kitchen or BYOB :)
