- **Event Description**: Follow the whispers of local plants and trees and explore what insights and nourishment their stories might offer in these challenging timesAbout this EventJoin herbal storyteller, writer and artist Amanda Edmiston - Botanica Fabula for an inspiring afternoon at the Salisbury Centre.We will delve into stories of multispecies collaboration, resistance and resilience exploring what we can learn from the plants and trees around us in these challenging times.Facilitator:Author of The Time Traveller’s Herbal: Amanda Edmiston (Botanica Fabula), comes from a long line of storytellers, plant-people and artists.Fascinated by plants, their stories and the way they reveal our connection to each other and the natural environment, her work weaves together facts, folklore, traditional tales and herbal remedies creating a rich multi-sensory tapestry which audiences have described as being like ‘an enchanting glimpse into a magical garden’.Host:Hannah Brazil is a community gardener and environmental anthropologist. She tends to the garden at the Salisbury Centre and looks after our Seed Library.Venue:Depeneding on the weather we will gather either in the Salisbury Centre Community Garden or in the Library. Please dress prepared for both options.Directions & Address: https://www.salisburycentre.org/find-us/Accessibility:The event is donation based or free if needed.The Salisbury Centre’s ground floor, including the toilet and kitchen are now wheelchair accessible.
