Inspired by Afro-Bolivian roots and Andean cultural expression, Caporales combines strength, elegance, rhythm and pride.The dance is known for its powerful footwork, energetic jumps and spectacular costumes. Traditionally, male dancers perform strong, almost acrobatic movements, while female dancers bring elegance, rhythm, sensuality and grace to the choreography.In this workshop, you will learn core Caporales steps, posture, coordination and group choreography in a fun and welcoming environment.Bolivian Party - 6:30 - 8:00From La Paz, Ana is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow and also offers private classes for children and adults. She began playing the violin at the age of 8, and for this special gathering, she will share a beautiful selection of Bolivian melodies, bringing us closer to home through music.Banda Internacional Unión AlbaBanda Internacional Unión Alba is a newly formed youth band sharing the joy and energy of Bolivian rhythms.
