Edinburgh Linear Walk

I am waiting on a confirmation email from Lady Haig Poppy Factory about a tour of the factory. Contact Gerry S on 07960 186796. The walk will be one of the following and limited to 20 walkers.

Distance: 12.9km / 8.0mi
Ascent: 38.1m / 125ft
Type: linear

Walk 1 Haymarket to Poppy Factory via Water of Leith and Dean Village and lunch at Botanic Garden, then tour of the Poppy Factory, then to Waverley station for return journey



Or

Walk 2 Haymarket then by bus to Currie Kirk and take the Lymphoy road to Balerno, returning by the Water of Leith to the visitor centre and bus back to Haymarket

We will be travelling to Haymarket by Train please buy a return ticket from Edinburgh, as we could return by Waverly station
