Alex Rex is the nom de guerre of Alex Neilson (Trembling Bells, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Shirley Collins etc). Alex perfoms the music of his internal organs - heart on bass, liver on drums and voices in his head singing barbershop. Alex has read 11 of the Guardian's Top 100 Novels Of All Time.
