At our Arts & Business Scotland Winter Development Forum, six business and culture creative partnerships will share their stories and the outcomes and impacts of their collaborations and delivered projects.
The afternoon will be divided into two sessions followed by a Q&A with ample networking opportunities.

The event will delve into the power of business and culture partnerships and demonstrate how far these collaborations have evolved from the standard sponsorship offer of the past to the creative collaborations forming the present and the future.
What will you learn?
You will hear from arts and heritage organisations on the benefits to be derived from securing private sector engagement in the light of diminishing public sector funding and how the evolving partnerships reap many rewards beyond the initial financial transaction. You will also hear from the businesses that will give their reasons for deciding to support cultural activity, why it fits with their company ethos and why they feel investing in arts and heritage activities is something that other businesses should be considering.
Who should attend?
The Arts Business Development Forum will provide a platform for relevant staff at all levels within large and small arts and heritage organisations to come together and explore how they could improve their skills and build confidence in working with local businesses.
Our Development Forums regularly attract over 150 cultural attendees from across Scotland. Fundraisers, Marketers and Development staff through to Artistic Directors, CEOs, trustees, volunteers and single person led operations will be in attendance on the day with a specific interest in the topic.
There has been a considerable increase in businesses attending the forums, particularly with an interest in supporting cultural organisations through partnership working or through promoting the services they provide specifically for the sector.

Due to the very nature of the scale of this event and the uniqueness of its offering we are anticipating a very large attendance and hence we would like to thank our colleagues at The Hub and the Edinburgh International Festival for providing the venue in-kind.
This event is completely free to arts, heritage and business members of Arts & Business Scotland.
There is a small charge of £30+VAT for non-members.
