In this open level high energy Afro-Cuban workshop you will become familiar with Yoruba - the fundamental orisha steps and overall body movements. It is great fun and a great workout too!
Afro-Cuban folklore - music and dance, are the
cultural elements found in Cuban society as a heritage from the slaves who were brought to Cuba mostly from West Africa and who preserved their traditions and religion through music and dance.
One of the key parts of the Afro-Cuban dance is a visual interpretation of Orishas (Cuban Gods) through the body movements which are very powerful, expressive and high in energy. The Orishas and Rumba can be transferred to Timba and Rueda moves to spice up the Cuban Salsa dancing...

Get fit and energised with the best hot LATIN
RHYTHMS! If you love Latin music and you love to dance, then this workshop is for you. Merengue, salsa, salsaton, son, cumbia, samba, mambo, chachacha, bachata, reggaeton, kuduro, Afro-Latin beat and more... This high energy cardio workout has been inspired by Latin street dancing, using authentic Latin dance steps and moves.
This workshop, focusing on the movement, style and music, would also complement Salsa dancing lovers. Relax, feel the beat, move your body and have fun! :)

🕕 18:00-18:55 MOBILITY & STRETCH
This is a Pilates-based workout which uses a holistic approach to mobilise the joints, lengthen the muscles while activating the deep core muscles and strengthening the whole body. Aim of the workshop is to relieve tight muscles, improve the posture, flexibility, balance, functional movement/range of motion and to relieve stress.
Holistic exercise is a type of physical activity that aims to improve physical, mental and emotional well-being. It`s based on the idea that the mind, body and spirit are interconnected and that optimal health comes from balancing these aspects. Pilates-based workout is a holistic exercise system designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance.
Level: suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels
