You can join either the Beginner classes, for which you don't need any dance experience, or the Intermediate classes. You don't need a dance partner to register.

We teach Balboa in blocks of 5 weekly classes, so that we can built progression into our teaching, which we find helpful especially for dancers new to Balboa. You don't have to attend all five classes of a block but we recommend for beginners to not miss too many early classes in a block.

Each class costs £8 (£7 concession), and you can buy tickets in advance for 3, 4 or 5 classes. The concession rate applies to anyone on low-income and to 2026 Edinbop member.

20:15-20:45 Joint practice time / social dancing
20:45-21:30 Intermediate class (requires previous Balboa experience)
