We will then head out to a selection of busier locations, with frequent opportunities to observe traffic, cycle with the instructor, and practice alone.The course ends with an optional 30 minute roadside repair session, which will help prepare you for unexpected problems such as punctures and chain issues.What to bringPlease bring your own bicycle* and helmet, and wear comfortable clothes for the activity. You may wish to bring some water or snacks too.*The bicycle must be in working order. If you have a bike which you think needs a bit of TLC, please bring it along to the Wee Spoke Hub (before the training day) for a free assessment of your bike. We cannot make repairs on the day of the session.If you plan to use a hired bicycle (e.g., Voi bike), please let us know in advance: cycletraining@shrubcoop.orgLocations!Meet at the Wee Spoke Hub.For a low-traffic warm-up, we usually use the Meadows / Sciennes / The Grange.The advanced activity will include a mix of busier and more complex environments.
