After their sold-out run of ‘The Anatomy of Burke and Hare’ in the Dock last May, followed by two additional sold-out runs in Dublin, Naming Cows Theatre Company — founded by Carrick-on-Shannon native Darragh Gilhooly and French theatre-maker Gwenaelle Gillet — present a fast-paced two-hander rooted in love, secrets, and a haunting past.

Inspired by a story told by the writer and director’s grandparents’, ‘yellowing.’ retraces the story of a couple stuck in time, confused with their memory. One is battling the early stages of dementia — the other is struggling with memories from war. Both attempt to make sense of the nonsensical, and together they dive back into their early twenties.

Written by Gwenaelle Gillet, and starring Carrick-on-Shannon local Darragh Gilhooly and Wexford actor Willow Brodie Hayes, 'yellowing.' promises to be an intriguing and exciting night of theatre.
