Alternative folk mainstay Junior Brother comes to The Dock on Friday 8 May 2026 for a one-night performance to remember.
Carefully pushing the boundaries of what modern Irish folk can look and sound like, Junior Brother is an idiosyncratic, challenging, and richly lyrical singer/songwriter from Co.Kerry.
His much-anticipated third album, 'The End', released in September of 2025. Following singles 'Take Guilt', 'Small Violence', 'Welcome To My Mountain' and 'A Lot of Love', this album was a defining release for Junior Brother.
Thematically, 'The End' explores forces that work against nature, the rise of the far-right, and confrontations with mortality. Through the lens of rural Irish folklore, 'The End' reflects the bewildering madness of the present moment.
