Bernard O'Shea — Desperate House Husband

Bernard O'Shea, the 'Desperate House Husband,' invites you on a hilarious escapade into the stay-at-home parenting world. Bernard comes to The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon later this year, Saturday 6 December at 8pm.

Brace yourself for comical tales of domestic appliances with sinister intentions, yearning for a peaceful night's rest, and even covert playground reconnaissance operations. It's a laugh-out-loud journey through the trials and tribulations of modern family life!

Bernard is a stand-up comedian, broadcaster and bestselling author. His first book, My Wife is Married to a Feckin’ Eejit, became a bestseller. A familiar voice on Irish radio, Bernard co-hosted Breakfast Republic on 2FM and iRadio Breakfast before becoming a regular contributor to The Ray Darcy Show and RTE Radio 1. He also writes a weekly column for the Irish Examiner.

On TV, Bernard co-wrote and starred in RTÉ’s hit series The Republic of Telly, Bridget and Eamon and in shows like Marty and Bernard: On the Road Again and Bernard’s Working Comics.
